  1. Does a Landscape Contractor or Lawn Service Co. need to have a license?
  2. Yes, all contractors need licenses. United Landscaping has all the necessary licenses including but not limited to,- Home Improvement, Pesticide Application, Plant Brokerage and Construction.

  3. Can I get an estimate? How much will it cost?
  4. United Landscaping will give you a free estimate usually within 24 hours. Insurance estimates and Landscape drawings require a fee.

  5. Can I get prices over the phone or on the Internet?
  6. In some cases we can give prices over the Internet or phone. However, it is better if we meet with you directly and look at the project to accurately estimate the costs.

  7. Is United Landscaping insured?
  8. Yes, we have both Liability and Workers Compensation insurance.

  9. I'm having a party, can I get my yard cleaned up?
  10. United Landscaping Inc. can handle emergency landscape needs. Whether you need a cleanup and extra flowers for a party, repair damage from weather or the neighborhood children, we can respond quickly to resolve your emergency.

  11. How far will United Landscaping travel?
  12. As a rule we service accounts within 45 minutes from our offices. Give us a call to determine if we can service your area.

  13. Is United affiliated with any professional associations?
  14. Yes, United Landscaping Inc. is a member of several professional organizations: Professional Lawn Care Association of America, Associated Landscape Contractors of America and Salisbury Chamber of Commerce.

  15. Does your company offer a variety of pest management approaches?
  16. Yes, we determine the needs of the lawn and landscape and develop a program specific to the requirements needed. We utilize an Integrated Pest Management approach to solving problems in the landscape.

  17. What is Integrated Pest Management?

IPM involves the carefully managed use of three different pest control tactics- biological, cultural, and chemical- to get the best long term result with the least disruption of the environment. United Landscaping can provide you with an evaluation of your property and a recommendation of how to proceed.
